SUPPORT AT HOME

Support at Home Fees & Funding

The Australian Government has introduced the Support at Home program to create a simpler, fairer and more personalised aged care system for older Australians wishing to remain independent at home.

The new program replaces Home Care Packages with eight funding classifications, providing support based on your assessed care needs. Funding is managed through quarterly budgets and includes new short-term pathways, clearly defined service categories and capped care management fees.
